Nadeen founded Poetic Beats Yoga with the aim of supporting women in finding more balance in life, cultivating a robust self-care regimen, especially in the midst of tending to others, and rediscovering their own creativity and authentic selves. She helps women find practical and individualized ways to integrate holistic rest-centered modalities, such as Yoga & Meditation, Reiki, and Sound Healing, into everyday life to radically uplift their wellness journey. She believes in cultivating self-care through community-care, and vice versa, by embracing various healing practices, traditions, and art forms.
Originally from New York City, Nadeen came to yoga 16+ years ago when a coworker gave her a prenatal yoga DVD. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training (trauma-informed) in 2022 at Abide Yoga Studio in Cleveland and became certified in children’s yoga through Yo Re Mi based in New York. She is a certified Reiki practitioner and a certified Sound practitioner; and she has studied positive psychology. In 2024, she also became certified to teach Kundalini Yoga through Kundalini Cleveland's 40-hour program and she completed a training on Sound Balancing (with tuning forks), as she is constantly striving to learn and share more impactful teachings and services while also deepening her own personal practice. In addition, Nadeen works with ZENworks to bring yoga and mindfulness to underserved schools in Cleveland and Seed Yoga to make yoga accessible to caregivers of families with special needs and mental health organizations.
Nadeen’s classes offer strengthening, creative and mindful movements while incorporating traditional yoga poses, restorative practices, meditation, uplifting music, poetry, affirmations and sounds for a joyful and healing experience. She also offers Sound Bath experiences using vibrations and frequencies through soothing instruments, such as crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, rattles, vocalizations, and more, to promote deep rest, energy clearing, and reconnection with one’s higher self.
Throughout her life, Nadeen has often found inspiration through poetry, sharing her work as a spoken word artist, and pursuing and connecting her creative passions and musical tastes, hence "Poetic Beats Yoga." In addition, Nadeen has worked with families facing trauma and separation as an immigration attorney for nearly two decades, and runs her own law firm, which is shared with the Poetics Beats Yoga wellness space. She is a mother of four, a native-Arabic speaker, hip hop head, Zumba lover, and she loves discovering new instruments.
You can find Nadeen at local studios and also in her Solon space, Poetic Beats Yoga homebase, for private yoga, Reiki, and sound healing sessions.
Thank you for being here. I believe the moment you think you don’t have time to take care of yourself is the exact moment you must. And I want to support you in that journey.
Between the law career I chose and becoming a mother 16+ years ago and the societal pressure to constantly produce and uplevel, the ideas of self-care and rest were nonexistent for me for so many years. Often I felt depleted and bone dry despite all the blessings and fulfillment in my life. As the dust of the grind gradually settled, and after many years of trying to “do it all”, I radically woke up to what I had been missing and learned (and continue to learn) how to slow down, restructure parts of my life that were energetically draining, and take better care of myself through various holistic modalities and practices.
I now know that I didn’t have to wait as long as I did to claim space for myself. From this lens, I strive to support and guide women in finding a more balanced life even while in the trenches of caring for others and especially when it doesn’t feel possible… a life with space to breathe, to move our bodies mindfully, to build physical strength, to find ease, rest, stillness, creativity, and less noise throughout each day, to react less and respond more, and to take supreme care of ourselves in a world that doesn’t stop for anybody.
I would love to support you in finding or refining your self-care regimen to achieve that sacred space for yourself… not just for a blissful one-hour session every now and then, but to help you build sustainable wellness practices that you can apply on your own to transform your DAILY life.
