Allow tension and stress to melt away as we ease into the grounding energy of Spring. Stress stays with us, locked up in our emotional and physical bodies. This practice offers an opportunity to positively impact both mind and body.
In this workshop, Nadeen al-Jijakli will gently guide you through a series of long-held restorative postures supported with bolsters, blankets, and all things cozy. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of crystal bowls and calming music while receiving hands-on massage from massage practitioners: Emma Dalrymple, LMT, CYT (Owner of Akasha Bodywork); and Brenda Groselle, CMP (Beauty & Zen Day Spa).
Perfectly complementing each other, Massage and Restorative Yoga have profound effects on stress by relaxing tight muscles and bringing ease to both mind and body. Sinking into breath and body, you’ll find an overall sense of relaxation and balance as we embrace the stabilizing energy of Spring.
No experience necessary, just bring yourself and a yoga mat. All other props will be provided.
